PROCUREMENT: Bridging the Gap How Disadvantaged Minority and Women Business Enterprises Can Participate in State Contracts

The purpose of the event is to bring together state agencies, prime contractors, suppliers, certified MWBEs and firms interested in MWBE certification, in a networking and educational forum.

There will be: information and guidance to vendors who need assistance with the MWBE certification require-ments and process; many MWBE support organizations and support program information available; and state agencies will discuss the opportunities available in the region and their specific support mechanisms for MWBEs.

Our goal is to educate suppliers and vendors as to what types of contracts are available in our industries, as well as to facilitate networking of our contractors with potential suppliers and sub-contractors.
