Ongoing Free and Confidential Consultations and Training

Specifically geared to minorities and low income families who want to start their own business. Individual meetings with a business development specialist. Individualized plans of action and service for every project from beginning to completion and for the first two years of the business start-up.

Mentorship Network

Successful business people in the region helping the new entrepreneurs.

Latino Forum

In collaboration with the Governor’s Office and US Congressman Maurice Hinchey. A discussion forum to better understand and serve the Hispanic population needs in the Hudson Valley. A networking gathering of resources and organizations from NYC to Albany.

Peer Savings Program

Helping new entrepreneurs through an intensive 32 week program of business training leading to their venture start-up. Matching grants to their savings up to $2,500.00 each.

Anniversary Luncheon

A celebration in the Fall to recognize successful GET entrepreneurs as well as entrepreneurs who have contributed to the community.

Free Six Week Seminar Series "Entrepreneurship for Everyone".

The series addresses the basic issues behind any business idea, the "dos and don’ts" in the path to success and financial freedom. In English and Spanish.
